This lab is used by second year students of civil and mechanical branches for conducting practicals in the subject of Strength of Materials. This lab is also useful for testing of construction materials and post graduate students projects. Following machines / equipments are available in Strength of Materials Laboratory

• Automatic Universal testing machine with 100 tons capacity
• Universal testing machine with 40 tons capacity
• Torsion testing machine
• Tile abrasion testing machine
• Impact testing machine
• Brinell hardness testing machine
• Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing machines
• Digital weighing balances and oven
• El beam sensor for deflection measurement
• Loading frame of capacity 50 tons
