Concrete Technology

This lab is used by second year students of civil branch for conducting practicals in the subjects of Building Materials and Construction and Concrete Technology. This lab is also useful for testing of construction materials and post graduate students projects. Following machines / equipments are available in Concrete Technology and NDT Laboratory

• Automatic compression testing machine with 2000 kN capacity
• Compression testing machine with 2000 kN capacity with digital display
• Table vibrator and Mortar vibrating machines
• Concrete mixer (Pan type) and mortar mixing machine
• Accelerated curing tanks with capacity of 3 and 12 cubes
• Humidity chamber
• Slump cone, Compacting factor, Vee-Bee time and Flow table
• Concrete and mortar permeability (As per IS and DIN standards)
• IS Sieves & Sieve shaker
• Blaine’s Permeability Apparatus
• Rebound hammers including Digital Rebound Hammers (4 Nos)
• Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test
• Profometer (Rebar Locator)
• Core cutting machine
